Best salon!!. This is a wonderful place. I have been a client for over 20 years. Most of the same employees are still there!! That says experience, loyalty, and great repeat service. I am very particular about my hair and it always looks beautiful when I leave. I have gotten gift certificates for other places and even tried a place on Las Olas once and I was very disappointed! I will never go elsewhere again!!! The nail technicians are all good as well. I love the way they treat me, like a friend or like family. The atmosphere is very relaxed, warm and friendly. I love that place!!!!!

Professional and Awesome Salon. could not believe someone could have something so horrible to say about the owner of Fantasy West, I've been going to Fantasy since it was called Future Nails and it was on University Drive. I love this place I have always been treated with respect and they make you feel like part of the family. Alicia and Lianys who are sisters and have owned salons for over 30 years, all I can say is they are awesome. They truly know what they are doing. I have at least one person a week comment on how beautiful my hair is. I would highly recommend this salon.

I didn't ask for bleach!!!. Approximately 3 mths ago I was referred to Fantasy West from a family member after moving back to South Florida. I was told that the owner was great so I went to her and she did an awesome job. Unfortunately, when I was there last Friday (this was only my 2nd time there so I was trying to remind her what we did before so she could do it again), she started walking away, came back and said "what do you want", I proceeded to tell her and after coming back with this bright orange stuff, she told me that she NEVER listens to her clients and does whatever she wants because she's the "professional". Well, this professional decided that my beautiful long, blonde hair needed BLEACH! I told her that I didn't want her to use the bleach in my hair but she proceeded anyways. I should have left but the first time she did my hair looked so good, I thought she might have a trick to making the bleach look good. I should have stuck with my gut on this one! Parts of my hair are on the orangish side and some are white. I have NEVER had my hair look so awful. If that isn't bad enough, she was also cutting my hair (for the first time!). I told her I wanted long layers throughout and she did that until she got to the top and decided to cut it so short that it doesn't blend in. Now the only way I can get my hair to look OK is to curl it. When I cried and complained to the owner (the one doing my hair) that I wasn't happy, she YELLED at me and had everyone looking at me. I asked her to be quiet and not yell at me that I'm the customer but that didn't seem to make a difference as she continued her bad behavior. I would encourage anyone thinking of going to this salon, rethink it!!! If the owner (Alicia) can act this badly when someone is dissatisfied with their service, you can imagine how the rest of the salon will act.
