There is no one, absolutely no one who should touch your hair except Shai. He is the best, the very best. I have been going to Shai for quite a number of years. He is truly an artist when it comes to hair. I would say he performs magic but this is no magic. Shai is a genius. He looks at you and understands what will enhance your beauty. I may enter the salon without a smile but leave glowing and happy. Your hair frames your face and must look great. Shai will make that happen. As I wait I see him work with other people and it is a joy to see. The new salon is elegant and all the staff are most pleasant to deal with. Please do not read those other reviews. They are not truthful and must have been written by competitors or I don't know who or why. If you make an appointment with Shai, you will only thank me. Ruth Ort

SHAI SALON IS HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE! The owner Shai cut my hair twice. The first time was adorable, the second time was a NIGHTMARE! After ruining my hair color and butchering my haircut I left several messages over a 3 week period when he FINALLY took the time to call back this arrogant as- had the nerve to tell me they don't refund for services and he does not check his message board. Hopefully he will check this! DON"T GO THERE!!!!

*Impressed*. My first visit to Shai International in Hollywood was an overall great experience! I brought my mom for Mani-Pedi's and we had a ball! I watched Shai transform the appearance of 2 women within a matter of minutes. I couldn't believe how big a difference a hairstyle can make. He really impressed me and was very warm and friendly. We booked our next appointment immediately and are now "regulars." I would definitely recommend this Salon to anyone in the local area as well as anyone passing through or on vacation. What a great spot for a pick-me-up!

Unfriendly Cold. Shai is a very good stylist, however, even if you decide you want him to do your hair, he won't necessarily do it. He will push you off to one of his employees, like he did to me. Unfortunately, his employee messed up my color. When I went back the next time I showed Shai and he that same employee make the correction. I was not happy with the way I was treated and no longer go there. I have heard similar comments from others.
