Bad food, mediocre service. The only good thing about our visit to Lorenzo's was the salad which was prepared tableside. We were not told that there would be an extra charge for the salad but they saved that surprise for the bill. We asked to see the manager and pointed out that our server never told us that there would be an upcharge for the salad. He just shrugged his shoulders and said "there is."

The tomato sauce n the pasta looked like grease from the top of a pizza, just awful.

My husband ordered soup that was served barely warm.

The restaurant is an older building with little charm or ambience but that is not the problem. The careless service and poor food means we will not be back.

One and only visit to this restaurant. I purchased a certificate on line which we used last night at this restaurant. The food and service were good but I will never return to this place again. First of all I have never been to an Italian restaurant that you had to pay extra for the salad. It is always included with the meal. They charge $2.00 extra for salad even though after checking their menu on Restaurant com it shows that it comes with the meal. The place was not busy and after talking with the owner I now know why. I told him about his menu on line and he said "you cannot believe everything you read". What kind of an answer was that. The bill seemed very high and all I wanted was a reasonable explanation which he could not give me and hung up.I will stick to my regular italian restaurant where salad and garlic rolls are included with the meal and the management appreciates my business. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know to stay away from there.
